What to
do to create your own good health comes down to this...
We all have two choices:
1. We can wait until
we are sick and then leave it all up to a doctors and the insurance companies to take care of us.
2. We can
try to prevent dis-ease today by eating well, taking the essential nutrition our bodies need in order to promote wellness
and healing within and becoming aware of the environment we live in by educating ourselves on what we are putting
into and onto our bodies and our homes.
Taking care of ourselves today to avoid dis-ease tomorrow is the best
choice to make.
Our health is our own responsibility. Life is full of choices. We ultimately are responsible
for every choice we make. What we choose to eat, drink and use on our bodies and in our homes will have a positive or
negative effect on our health. It is that simple. For every action there is a reaction, good or bad.
Making
the healthy choices seems so simple.Yet why are there so many today who are in a state of dis-ease, both physically and
mentally. On a global scale cancer, depression, heart disease, diabetes, fatigue, anxiety, obesity to name but a few are
on the rise. What are we doing wrong? Or maybe we should be asking what have we forgotten to do right. The main
reason we eat is not fentirely for pleasure but to feed our cells. Give them the essential nutrition they need and our
cells can do the job they were created to do - supply us with energy and keep us strong and healthy. However, most
of us seem to be reaching for the convenient fast food hamburger, chocolate chip cookies or
potato chips rather than grabbing a healthy apple or taking the time to make a nutritious meal.
Water is the most important thing we put in our bodies every day. Our cellular health depends
on pure, clean water to survive. Yet news stories are common place of the dangers in our water supply. There
are a number of water filters available today to help filter out the possible dangers which may exist in our water. Have
your drinking water and your shower water tested for toxins and impurities. There have been numerous cases where
people have filtered their drinking water or just switched to bottled water but were not aware that the water from showering
and bathing is absorbed into their skin. Take for example the case in Woburn Massachusetts portrayed in the
movie A Civil Action where a neighborhood's water well was exposed to chemicals from a local company. The
families stopped drinking the "funny tasting water" but continued to shower and cook with it. The water, which
contained a number of toxic chemicals, was unknowingly absorbed into their skin causing numerous cases of cancer in adults
and children. Here is the CDC report as well as Woburn's local newspaper's investigations on the case. It is getting sadly common to hear such news reports of
possible dangers like E-coli in our vegetables or dangers of chemicals in our water, food and air.
WHAT THE BLEEP & THE SECRET The message in two immensely
popular movies and books WHAT THE BLEEP & THE SECRET is that we create our
own realities. Many believe everything is made of energy. Our thoughts are no exception. If we choose to focus on the
negative things, (obsessing over weight issues, getting out of debt, job difficulties) you will attract these things into
your life until you focus on something different. If you focus on the positive, (my life is peaceful, healthy, abundant,
etc), you will attract the positive into your life. If you have not seen these two movies or read the books, buy them and
watch them. They are inspiring!
Our cells are absolutely effected by our thoughts. Emotions
are actually a chemical your brain produces which enters into and changes your cells. This is what is referred to as the mind
body connection. Feed them good, positive thoughts! Laughter is one of their favorite foods, a true delicacy and
a secret to good health. Depression is a very common ailment many suffer from. Negative thoughts seem to be far more
popular than positive ones. We turn on our televisions and are told of problems - war, sickness, killing etc. We are
in need of more positive news. Negativity breeds negativity. Depression is a result of negative thinking. Thomas Edison
once said "whether you think you can or you can't, your right". If you think you are not going to get
well, chances are you will not. Your cells, whether you believe this or not, are listening. Your thoughts are quite possibly the
master of your destiny. And your health. Bruce Lipton and Candice Pert are two of many cellular biologists who have
done extensive research on our cells and our minds and how one effects the other. www.brucelipton.com & www.candicepert.com.
Cognitive thinking is one of many excellent ways to help
us become aware of our distorted, negative thinking. If we would only stop for one moment and really evaluate what we
are constantly repeating to ourselves, we would understand why we feel negative. Some of us seem to be at war with ourselves. We
tell ourselves we are fat, ugly, stupid. Our cells are listening and repeat do as you say. You are fat,
you are ugly, you are stupid. A more positive, realistic way of thinking would reveal things usually aren't as bad as
it all seems. Take a breath when in the heat of the moment and become aware of the bigger picture. We just need to start feeding
our brain cells with more positive thoughts and turning our news channels off and instead put on a good comedy or read a
book. Even better, get out and exercise, make friends and take every moment we have and be grateful. Gratitude is the best
attitude! Life is short. We have a choice as to how to live our lives. Choose to live life to the fullest. Like
a heavy weight you are dragging with you, let go of the past, try not to worry about the future (unless you are a psychic
and can predict what is to be) and just live life in the present. Smile, someone out there loves you.
Speaking
of obesity, besides choosing the right foods, exercise plays another important role in good health. Calories are energy. The
amount of energy we put into our bodies needs to used up in the form of exercise or it will be stored as fat. Today,
sadly, children are facing the obesity epidemic as much as adults. Obesity leads to high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and
many other physical conditions. Investing in a good exercise bike or a membership to your local gym is investing in yourself. There
are many ways to exercise for free - Jogging, walking and biking outdoors, to name just a few. Exercise can be a pleasant
hobby such as gardening. When we choose to watch tv rather than take a walk and then complain about how much we weigh
we need to be accountable for what we decide to spend our time eating and doing. When we exercise we look good, we feel
good and it is good for our health.
You will be hearing much more on these subjects very soon. Till then, eat right. BUY ORGANIC!
Make good nutrition a part of your daily program. Exercise (remember, It does not have to considered a painful experience
- take up something fun like gardening). Education and awareness is the key. What you don't know could kill
you. There are many web sites like this one dedicated to helping you make the right decisions. We will show you some
wonderful websites that are dedicated to educating the public on the different challenges we face today in terms of good health. Start
becoming aware of what you are feeding yourself and your family. Look at your canned and boxed foods, shampoo bottles,
dish detergents, soap, toothpaste, etc and look up their ingredients. Again, plenty of information for you on the web.
The web is the greatest resource we have available. You may be very surprised at what you are putting into and on your body.
Further information to help you identify some of the toxins in your home, food, water, cosmetics and body products will
be available soon. In the meantime, read about the nutritional products we offer here. We have researched
many and have found these, particularly Tunguska Blast and Vital PSP+ to be elite in there field.
Here are two wonderful links we recommend visiting.
SILENT
SPRING INSTITUTE is a partnership of scientists, physicians, public health advocates, and community activists united
around the common goal of identifying and changing the links between the environment and women's health, especially breast
cancer. This collaboration began when activists from the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition recognized the need for a new type of research organization to find preventable causes of breast cancer. The
women who started this wonderful organization is mentioned in John Kerry's and Theresa Heinz new book, This Moment
On Earth.
For specific information on toxins click through their research. This is a wonderful organization
with some extremely dedicated people.

As for the safety as something so commonly used as our cosmetics, this website has done a wonderful job
of exposing dangerous cosmetics ingredients as well as trying to get companies to agree to comply with safer ingredients in
their products. Incredible as it may seem, there are little to no regulations on ingredients for these products.
